Good morning Twitter (or X!). I hate this X! My experience here is nothing like it was. I am set up on Instagram and enjoying life there lots. So I'll keep this account but dip in but less often and hope to stay connected with friends here who have not yet fled....

A super start this morning. Showers later but a fair amount of gardening done and I feel all the better for it.

Crocosmia thriving and looking perfect to me in what I thought were surprisingly shady conditions another from yesterday's treat trip to Gravetye with @UltingWick and @Concraigsmith )

Just been told by my decorators that we'll not see the sun again for the next 10 days, so here is the happy view this morning. Lets hope they're wrong

A night in with @TEGmagazine and I have thoroughly enjoyed the article by @Concraigsmith about Claire Austin. I've bought her plants and followed her recommendations for many years and can really see her influence in my garden

Frustrating day when the weather did not do what was forecast! However I've started cutting back Geraniums whilst admiring this Aconitum. It's a seedling and quite different from the 2 others in this border.

Loving the ethos of Hidden Clough Nursery . Feels a very worthy winner of Master Grower

A perfect start to the day and though harassed with other issues I am determined to make the most of this.

Does anyone recognise/known what is happening to the ends of one of my Ferns?

More showers but I am not complaining. I am honestly loving the relief of having rain this summer. The plants are thriving and I am doing very little. Lovely light too after the shower 😊

What a day! A few torrential showers with some big thunder claps, horrible wind that's still continuing but also some glorious sunshine. It felt wrong to be inside so we holed up in the pond house and enjoyed the show

Keep watching people - today's good news is that I have just spotted 4 dahlias thought dead rising through the perennial foliage 😊😊😊

Today has been a pretty perfect day. Lots achieved by decorators inside while I've reacquainted myself with the garden. There's plenty to do but nothing feels urgent with enough rain to make everything sparkle
