In 2003 there were concerns that pupil numbers in Gwynedd had fallen by 700 since 1997, there are now 2000 fewer pupils than in 1997 and yet no one is talking about it.

English talking points do not transfer to Wales. Welsh schools are not full but chronically undersubscribed. There are 20,000 fewer primary school pupils than there were in 2018.

Plaid Cymru want the Senedd to take control of immigration via a Welsh Migration Advisory Service. Full schools, stretched NHS, low wages and this is their answer? Their priorities are never your priorities. Wales needs Reform.

This also applies in Wales, but names should be considered on a case by case basis.

Reclaim our Irish placenames? Log na Coille/Lugnaquillia is Leinster's tallest mountain. The original Irish meaning is 'The Hollow in the Wood'. The English version is a meaningless transliteration rather than a translation. Are there manglicised names that bug you? #Gaeilge

Today’s news letter includes an investigation into a Welsh Government owned body which is unapologetically promoting climate change misinformation. Link in pinned tweet.

The Welsh question in the census is much too vague so here i propose questions based on the Irish census, it may lead to disappointment for some but the data would be extremely useful.

People complain about more MS need to watch this. The bulk of scrutiny of the government is done in committees like this, not shouting across a chamber hollering like kids. More MS mean the committees can meet more often and scrutinise the government.

Blindsided. Caught flat-footed. Caught with your pants down. Cornered. The English language doesn't have an idiom strong enough to convey this excruciatingly long uncomfortable pause. You can see the moment the realisation sets in: damn. A must watch. https://t.co/YZ10gval8b
