Due to the increasing number of COVID cases in our communities, Special Olympics Utah has decided to postpone all indoor & outdoor events through January 28th. We feel this decision to be the best for the health and safety of our athletes, volunteers and staff.

Day 1 of the 12 Days of SOIA! Young Athletes Play Days give kids ages 2-7 a chance to participate in activities representing 11 sports offered by Special Olympics. In 2022 there will be Play Days in Council Bluffs, Spirit Lake, & Des Moines, among other cities.

Westlake High School is not only a model for wellness and emotional self-resilience advocacy, their @SOlympicsUT Unified Sports teams are a shining example of whole school inclusion and belonging. Go Thunder!!
@doublejayyyyy @SpencerJCox @AbbyPalmerCox @steveeliason Westlake does have a model wellness center. Students and educators across UT deserve a similar space. Targeted legislative funding over the past couple of years helped put more social workers and mental health personnel in schools and yes, more resources are needed.

The Polar Plunge this morning at the PC MARC was a splash! Park City Police and other City staff participated in the fundraiser, which raised over $16,000 for the Special Olympics of Utah.
