The Treasury Tax Expenditure & Insights Statement shows it is a golden age of tax concessions for the rich. They benefitted $40 billion from 7 major tax concessions in 2019-20. The avarice of the rich is robbing disadvantaged schools & other public services of funding.

Victoria is a failed education state because it has failed to fully fund public schools. Vic public schools are equal second most under-resourced system in Aust. They are funded at only 84.6% of their Schooling Resource Standard while private schools are funded at 102%

One quarter of low SES & Indigenous Year 9 students in Victoria are below reading national standards. One-third are below the writing standard.Victoria is not "The Education State".

Cranbrook unveils $125m revamp. This arms race is fuelled by govt funding. Cranbrook got $6M in govt funding in 2020. This frees up fee income to gold plate their facilities. It is an obsenity that such schhools get govt funding
