Thinking back to my first game as head coach was against cedar hill. And the Great @JoeyMcGuireTTU the defending state champs. How fitting 7 years later to be a crowned State Champs. We never ducked action. Never ran from competition.

Track is only sport u can’t blame on anybody else. Main reason why people run from it. Nobody else to blame. But it teaches you to compete how to fight through when u feel like u can’t go any more. Track shows Heart or those who don’t have one.

What people don’t know. We went to Longview twice for the kids and coaches to experience what it’s like to be in hostile environment because we knew it would prepare us for Aledo. It taught our kids it’s fight in the dog not the size.
