Don't get me started on guiles "burnout loop" the one that does almost no knock back and literally 0 chip. Anyways nerf terry.

Boom chip is completely negligible because one opening is a knockdown and a turn which translates to about 2 bar worst case scenario, not to mention parry boom knee is another 2.

No guile should ever be walking themselves into the corner like a dog in s3, especially after the side swap nerfs. The game engine literally encourages boom drive rush ad nauseum because your bar is only safe while you're actively punching your opponent.

They need to reimprove drive if they want to create actual zoning archetypes in sf6. The amount of bar you get for doing a basic jab block string into a heavy ender is so much larger than giving space we have guiles and sims drive rushing in at 2 bar because it's literally safer.
