What does bringing back abalone in SoCal look like? 🌊 Our team and partners just outplanted 5,000 juvenile red abalone off the Gaviota Coast bringing the total to 10,000! 🐚 Each one raised at The Cultured Abalone Farm and released into their new ocean home. 🌿 #AbaloneRecovery

Did you catch the pink water near the SM Pier this week? Researchers from the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering, in partnership with the Bay Foundation and the city of Santa Monica, released a nontoxic pink water tracer dye to study ocean circulation around the Pier.
