Hajime Nakagawa for #SoloLeveling Probably the animator with the most distinctive animation style on the show. His drawings have blocky shading and are mostly left uncorrected. The timing is snappy and the sharp, angular drawings make the action feel fast and fluid.

Ryota Saito for #SoloLeveling His animation stands out for its versatility and fluid motion. His action work is well-paced and highly readable, acting as a smooth contrast to Kanno’s more chaotic style. Very refreshing. Definitely anticipate more from him in future seasons!

Yoshihiro Kanno for #SoloLeveling Undoubtedly, he did the most on SL. From KA to SB, as well as countless drawings & sequences corrected, he's done it all as SL's Action AD. Flowy, chaotic & again, Kanada-esque. His animation prowess is among the best in today's industry.

Takafumi Torii for #SoloLeveling He excels at kanada-esque animation, but he isn't limited to it. And his drawings are on another level, visceral af. His output, especially for Season 1 was absolutely insane. He & Kanno absolutely carried that season's action on their backs.

It’s impressive that #SoloLeveling avoids relying on CGI entirely for its large-scale monster sequences. It's all in 2D, a rarity considering the complexity of these designs and the poor scheduling in today's industry. Definitely one of the many underappreciated aspects of SL.

The clumsy swings, indecisive attacks, shaky footing are so well-animated you can FEEL Jinwoo’s inexperience. After his first Goblin kill, his movements clearly gain confidence. Stellar character acting by HAJIME NAKAGAWA (中川 肇); love his bold blocky shading. #SoloLeveling

What about drawing quality you ask? Here's some VERY strong drawings from the episode too. This episode did not lack in ANY department.

Rewatching #SoloLeveling's first episode reminds me how amazing that debut was. Some jaw-dropping action, FX animation and clean character acting, this episode didn't disappoint and had barely any of that “limited” feel some premieres struggle with. BGM: Symphonic Suite Lv10.
