Hello world! The Stanford Law Technocrats is an organization based on the following principles:. 1) Technology is a universal good. 2) Silicon Valley knows how to govern itself, and we shouldn't tell it what to do. 3) Surveillance capitalism is only scary if you want it to be!.

Alito is #correct on this matter. Computers and algorithms are #neutral and incapable of any #bias, especially when it comes to apolitical issues like #redistricting.

STATEMENT: The SLS Technocrats congratulate @linamkhan on her FTC confirmation, but we remind her that the best antitrust strategy is politely asking Facebook not to buy things.

Hmm. our President, Alexa, was supposed to finish this tweet, but apparently she's been #canceled by the woke mob. We'll get back to you when we think of a cause of action, of which we're sure there are many!.

YES! Repealing Section 230 would present conservatives the perfect opportunity to sue @Twitter for.
I’m more determined than ever to strip Section 230 protections from Big Tech (Twitter) that let them be immune from lawsuits.

We admire the ideological consistency of conservatives seeking to repeal Section 230. Nothing says "marketplace of ideas" like suing Facebook because you don't like what someone posted!.

We LOVE this! Adding surveillance to policing really strikes at the heart of the issue and won't disproportionately impact any communities 😍.
One (non)obvious solution to improve policing is the use of drones. It is easy to program a drone to deploy itself from the top of every cop car when they make a stop, film everything and send real-time A/V to a central oversight hub where folks are watching, also in real-time.

In this era of tech-induced polarization, it’s important that the tech giants continue to hire ethical, independent thinkers. We’re grateful that these companies select for moral, socially-conscious developers by (1/2).

The recent TikTok news makes us grateful that Gen Z is so privacy savvy. Teens today would never volunteer their information or give it away without consent! 🤗.
