New regulations for international students have taken effect: • If you’re eligible, you can now work up to 24 hours per week off campus while your classes are in session. • If you want to change learning institutions, you’ll need to apply and be approved for a new study permit.

REMINDER: Eligible full-time students working off-campus can work 20 hours per week while class is in session. A new rule to increase to 24 hours per week is expected to take effect later this fall, as announced earlier this year. Learn more about current off-campus work hours:
