In 2018, Pastor Brug was speaking to the Shoreland family at a prayer service for Cameron who went to heaven way too soon for all of us. As so many tried to understand, Pastor Paul Brug told us a story about a friend he lost when he was young.

Later that summer, Pastor Brug learned that he was suffering from a cancerous brain tumor. Today, after well over a year fighting cancer, the Lord decided that today was the day that He wanted to bless Pastor Brug, and the Lord took him home to heaven.
