Congratulations to Stephen McGuire and James O’Brien for their fantastic wins at the SDS Scottish Boccia Closed Championships (BISFed) in Edinburgh last weekend. Both won gold - Stephen in the BC4 category and James in the Development category. 🔴🔵⚪️

The winner plays a vital role in his local Para Football team, even though he can’t take to the pitch himself. Due to his disabilities, playing would put him at serious risk as his bones are fragile, but what he brings to the team off the pitch is immeasurable. Congrats Michael!

Winners of Club of the Year have introduced an innovative Inclusion Development Programme, reaching over 40 adults and children. With around 15 young volunteers actively supporting its work, the winning club continues to grow, offering accessible, low-cost opportunities for all!

The winner of Club of the Year is run entirely by volunteers. They have made a remarkable impact on young people with disabilities across South Lanarkshire in 2024. Through weekly Disability Judo sessions, the club has supported over 60 participants. Congrats Hamilton Judo Club!
