Working on the Mari Lwyd “snap” jaw movement. Rigged the jaw with Chicago screws, rubber bands, and braided string. All can be easily removed for painting & replacement. The mechanism works great & the multiple rubber bands give a good resistance #marilwyd #christmastraditions

Working on my next build a Bioshock splicer mask. After making the huntress I decided the shapes were just too different and I needed to make new templates. With fabrication complete I can move on to painting and weathering. #cosplay #bioshocksplicer #masquarade #BioShock

After looking at modifying the huntress bunny mask, the shapes were just to different for a Bioshock splicer. So I started putting together a basic pattern to create a rough prototype. From here I’ll refine what works what doesn’t and then use that to create the final version.

Every couple of years I have to dust off one of the best costumes I have ever created. The Gears of War Theron Guard was built over 2.5 months and won Grand Champion at TwitchCon. A full muscle suit along with arm and leg extensions made this beast a complete body transformation

I am a big fan of the animated series Over the Garden Wall. So, I made a custom little maquette of Enoch using a 5” foam pumpkin. His body was made by sewing strips of canvas and stuffing in some Poly-Fil. I even used wire and metal strips to make his body and arms posable.

Hard to say which pumpkin is my favorite. But, this was the first foam pumpkin build I posted several years ago. Definitely happy with how the whole project came together. And thrilled that it has inspired so many makers. #halloweencrafts #pumpkincarving #pumpkin #Halloween
