How does this happen with a company of @DukeEnergy? How is your response “report as fraud or we can’t do anything”. How is my information authorized on someone else’s property without my consent? This is fraud and will be reported to @FTC.

I am informed by @DukeEnergy customer of all of this 1 business day before the fraudulent bill is due. And to top it off, @DukeEnergy charged me $15 extra dollars on my real account for a re-connection fee since I disconnected the fraudulent service.

After being on the phone (4) times over the past 1.5 months with @DukeEnergy I am now told by @DukeEnergy customer service the only way to remove the charges from my account is to report them as fraud through @FTC, file a police report, and mail all of this in.
