He smiles right back, a bit brighter at the touch to his jaw. “That is true…I never thought of them like that before…” He’d only seen the scars as negative things, reminders of what he’d suffered. But he can see the positives. The fact he survived everything.

The new eye’s a slightly different color than his old one was, Amber instead of a deep brown. His eye colors don’t match anymore but that was the least of his concerns. “It’s cybernetic, honestly I’m shocked I got it and it works. Cost a pretty big amount’a caps but worth it”
“New eye?” She inspects him curiously. “Didn’t know you could get a new one.”
