And finally, we can announce that the final version of the SISALv3 database and paper are published! 🎉 Paper in ESSD gives lots of context and synthesis of what is included. We look forward to seeing the DB in use. @PAGES_IPO

The SISAL working group has been compiling a new version of our database (v3). First numbers: Total # records: 902 (673 in SISALv2) C isotopes: 619 (430 in SISALv2) Trace elements+Sr-isotopes: 107 (NEW!) Stay tuned for the release and paper this spring! @PAGES_IPO #PMIP

Any other non-climatic evidence from speleothems? I've seen earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, fires in caves, mining/pollution, dating archaeological finds in the cave, ancient DNA/pollen from stals (one for @SISAL_wg peeps)
