The SIP Team partnered w/the San Joaquin COE for our first official Inclusion Academy session 1, "Inclusive Culture". Upcoming sessions address "Inclusive Policy" & "Inclusive Practices". Bringing the Inclusion Academy model to more COEs, SELPAs & LEAs now in the planning stages.

Are disability/ableism integrated into your Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, or continue to be housed in "special education"? As long as disability studies, history, and representation are isolated in a compliance/LRE context, justice will be limited.

Last year @SBCEO, SELPA, & SIP merged to offer LEA teams 3 sessions on creating inclusive cultures, policies, & practices as the 1st-of its kind "Inclusion Network". This year we are partnering w/ @PCOE_OPENACCESS in response to LEA requests for UDL-related inclusion info.
