Just for reference, the Dream Act was introduced in 2000. It has still not passed. US has the most outdated immigration system because Congress cannot do its job.

The GreenCard Backlog imposed on Indian born Legal High Skilled Immigrants will continue to deter Indian students from applying to the U.S. universities.
From March 2024 to March 2025, the U.S. lost over 130k international students. Indian students declined by over 27%. Masters students declined by over 20%. Institutions will lose up to $4 billion.

When do we plan to fix legal immigration for those who are living by the book and approved for employment based Greencards 15 years ago? Their kids are aging out and are forced to self deport.

Clearly not true in the case of #GreenCardBacklog Those approved in 2013 are still waiting.
President Trump's economic polices are simple: if you invest in and create jobs in America, you'll be rewarded. We'll lower regulations and reduce taxes. But if you build outside of the United States, you're on your own.
