This morning, Vito announced a safe place to play for the students at @Lighthouse_78. Through a collaboration with @nycparks, @statenislandda, and @csd31si the school children will now have a secured place for recess in the adjacent playground during the school day.

S.I. Elected Officials' Joint Statement on S.I. Ferry Disruptions: "The recent disruptions in Staten Island Ferry service are no longer isolated cases. The disruptions have become systemic. This leads us to believe that the matter needs to be resolved at the negotiating table. .
There will be significant delays on the #StatenIslandFerry beginning today 8/3 through at least 5AM tomorrow morning 8/4. We strongly recommend New Yorkers seek alternate modes of public transit. #SIFerry

Update on the Staten Island Ferry Service:. As per DOT, the Staten Island Ferry will continue to operate on an hourly schedule beginning at 6AM. Departures out of St. George will be on the hour and on the half-hour out of Whitehall terminal.
