As the #Christmas season draws to a close, we pause to reflect on this little #Nativity scene. It waits between the hall and stairs leading to our #Chapel, waiting to welcome us to #prayer honoring the #Incarnation of our Lord. Merry Christmas! #YanktonBenedictines #Monastery

The final week of the #Christmas Season continues with #Nativity views from around the #Monastery. Many of our sisters are #artisans, one creates beautiful #stainedglass nativities to light up the night. Merry Christmas! #YanktonBenedictines

The final week of the #Christmas Season continues with #Nativity views from around the #Monastery. One of our #monastic hallways affords us a place to pause and pray on the way to our library, computer lab, sewing room, kitchen, or patio dining room (it's a busy hallway).

The final week of the #Christmas Season continues with #Nativity views from around the #Monastery. During our #construction and renovations, even in our little patio #dining room, we keep a Nativity to remind us to continue living Christmas. Merry Christmas!

The holy doors may be closed and the #Jubilee year concluded, but we continue to #Pilgrimage in community and journey towards the Lord!
Today in St. Peter’s Basilica, Pope Leo XIV closed the Holy Door, marking the official end of the Jubilee. The pope paused in prayer at the threshold that millions of pilgrims from around the world crossed as a sign of conversion & renewal. 🎥 (CNS Video/Vatican Media)

Blue is the international color of human trafficking awareness. Each year on January 11, we recognize #WearBlueDay to shed light on human trafficking and stand in solidarity with the millions of victims and survivors around the world. Join us: https://t.co/wHZFoqm1s5.

We were invited to take a piece of chalk to bless other #doorways around our #monastic home: employee entrances, small group rooms, offices. A reminder to welcome all with #hospitality as Mary and Joseph welcomed the Magi and Saint Benedict welcomed guests. #Epiphany #Blessing

At the close of First Vespers, Sister Penny, #prioress, #blessed the chalk. Then, we processed from #Chapel to the main entrance of our #Monastery where Sister Bonita, procurator, used the chalk to inscribe the #Epiphany #blessing over our doorway. #YanktonBenedictines #prayer
