It's a landlords duty to maintain the house they rent. It's not up to the tenant to pay for home improvements #rtb.
They should maintain the property without raising the rent.

Maybe if @sligococo enforced #derelictireland site levy they would at least be doing a bare minimum. Instead they collected €8450 out of €84000 supposed to be collected in 2024. And € ZERO before that.
Minister @JamesBrowneTD is increasing funding for Local Authorities, so your Local Authority can do more for you.

If @Fingalcoco really wanted to raise millions they actually enforce the Derelict Site Act. They've had 35 years to do so. In fact owners of uninhabitable home pay no local property tax while watching their assets rise in value every year. #DerelictIreland.
