Tug of War brought our 2024-25 academic year to a close. Students dug their heels in with grit and determination. The atmosphere was incredible. Congratulations to Lumley who were this year’s CHAMPIONS!💚 They’ve ‘done the double’ across sports day and tug of war. Well done👏

In our final assembly we recognised & rewarded Sports day achievements. Victrix & victor winners- students that achieved the most points across their events within their year group. Record breakers- 11 students broke records to set their own and become part of SGS history.👏 💚💛

SGS Colour Run 2025.💙💜💛💚🧡🩷🩵. Our school field was filled with laughter and colour this afternoon as our Year 7 and 12 students made their way around. We loved celebrating the end of their first year of school/ sixth form here with us at Skegness Grammar School. 💚💛

TeamSGS competed in Division 1 of the Coastal & Wolds athletics comp. We returned with 34 GOLD medals. 🥇 . Our year 8 girls, 8 boys and 9 boys also won their age categories whilst our year 9 girls placed 2nd. 👏🏼 . Congratulations.💚💛

Well done to our year 7 and 9 rounders teams for placing 3rd in their tournaments this week. It was a fantastic opportunity to compete against other talented opposition. Great job!👏

We were honoured to host a Trust-wide inclusive event @SkegGrammar .We welcomed Stephen, a @goalballuk coach, and Charlie, a @GBSittingVball player, alongside 5 academies. Students had the fantastic opportunity of being taught the skills & techniques before playing some matches.
