This Sunday, Benoît Ronval presented the paper "Assessing and improving the robustness of Binarized Neural Networks" at the VeriLearn workshop at ECAI, in which we explore the use of solvers to make binarized neural networks more robust. Paper: https://t.co/8gNUs5PACv

2/ Then we introduce a new simple solver for performing projected weighted model counting on these Horn clauses. We show that for a range of inference tasks this solver is as fast as the state-of-the-art, or faster. We hope that its simplicity allows for other uses in the future!

1/ In this work we show that some well-known probabilistic inference problems (including for Bayesian Networks, ProbLog, probabilistic networks) can be modeled in a simple & efficient manner using only Horn clauses + projected weighted model counting.
2) Tuesday at 11:30 Alexandre Dubray will present "Probabilistic Inference by Projected Weighted Model Counting on Horn Clauses", joint work with Pierre Schaus and @SGRNijssen. @cp_conf #modelcounting #wmc

A word of welcome was said at the opening reception of #IDA2023 by the rector of @UCLouvain_be, @VincentBlondel, and the director of #ICTEAM, Michel Verleysen, both well-known data scientists. Thanks for the warm words (and story about the history of the #Louvain method)!
