Liverpool’s jewel in the crown, St George’s Hall, has taken a step closer to opening a brand new visitor attraction in 2021 thanks to a £250,000 boost.
First item for cabinet is to accept a £50,000 funding award from the @wolfsonfdn to interpret the Boswell-Reid Engine Room in @SGHLpool. This is part of a wider drive to improve the tourism offer at the Grade I listed building. More https://t.co/4GT0SsQIT7

Hunter Street and Byron Street, including Liverpool-bound traffic in the Birkenhead Tunnel, will be closed from 7pm on Friday 11 October - 6am on Monday 14 October which will have a significant impact on traffic in and out of the city centre over the weekend.
