It appears @KingCountyWA legal filing against @waDSHS for leaving mentally ill defendants in jail is the first of more motions to come. King Co. wants a court to force DSHS to reimburse them for “unnecessary costs” incurred by state’s failure to move the defendants out of jail.

Now Jay has been charged with attacking three random people within 24 hours in early March. Prosecutors are now asking for additional $5 million bail in connection with the murder charge.

According to charging documents just filed, Jay attacked and killed a 32 year-old man on Capitol Hill with a piece of rebar. Alleged crime happened just hours after light rail attack. @SeattlePD referred case to @KCProsecutor office, which filed charges within the hour.

Breaking: man charged with throwing Seattle woman down stairs at Seattle Light Rail station in March, Alexander Jay, now also charged with First Degree Murder. Jay allegedly bludgeoned a man in Seattle the day after Light Rail attack.

When police arrived in front of Rep. Jayapal’s home they say the suspect was standing in the middle of the street with his hands up. A gun was holstered on his waist. He allegedly told police the victim he was targeting was of “Indian decent”.

It’s believed Rep. Jayapal was not at home Saturday night when a man with a gun allegedly yelled “Go back to India, I’m going to kill you.”Neighbors heard yelling and what sounded like a gun shot.

The @KCProsecutor office asked for $500,000 bail for man suspected of a hate crime against Rep. Jayapal, saying he is a ‘danger to the community,” Probable cause was found for a hate crime-‘threat.’.

According to @SeattlePD documents suspect Brett Forsell allegedly showed up to Congresswoman Primala Jayapal’s home at 11:30 Saturday night. Neighbors said they saw him drive by her house 3 times, yelling profanities.
