In light of school closures, we have produced ten days of elementary activities teachers can choose to assign students to complete at home. We are releasing them under a CCBY license and you will find them on our homepage https://t.co/3OHVYjXUcQ @creativecommons @SFUnified

So excited by the mathematical reasoning happening in Grace's and Bonnie's kindergarten classrooms at Sheridan. Get in close and see what they notice about rectangles and squares! "Sometimes a square looks like a diamond." "A square is a special rectangle." @pdaro @SFUnified

See @joboaler's opinion piece in the Hechinger Report today. She shares some early findings of surveys of our 9th grade students' positive math identities about learning in heterogenous classrooms. https://t.co/nvGfUUevPk

What do you notice and what do you wonder? I stumbled on this phone interface box (I think that’s what it’s called?) being worked on right outside of one of our schools, so many patterns so many things to see and model with mathematics.
