Last night we attended bales of straw on fire near Sutton Maddock. 2 Fire Appliances 🚒 🚒 a water bowser and support from the land owner with machinery was used to extinguish fire.

06:45 we were alerted to reports of a fire in the open at the top of The Wrekin. Fire involving trees and undergrowth. Crews from Baschurch Fire Station + Bridgnorth Fire Station + Tweedale Fire Station + Wellington and Shrewsbury wholetime + Newport Fire Station were . 1/3

Further assessments currently being carried out for hotspots with our drone. Crews are still working on the hillside and moving vehicles are a risk to the public.
