Another nose twitch. Snores shifting to slight purrs from the petting. One eye slides open, big white eyeball appearing to stare at him. And then she LUNGES from the ground, drool and all, to tackle him!.
He reached down and gently pet the woman’s head. The familiar scent of stardust, space fuel, and booze had lured him to her. “Zaaaaay’yah, you alive?”. Of course she was, she was snoring after all.
