A special shoutout to the Countryside Fire Department for bringing a fire truck to campus! Students loved exploring the truck and learning about the tools firefighters use to protect our community.

John Powers partnered with Camp I Am Me and the Office of the State Fire Marshall to provide bedshaker fire alarms to our students. Fire departments from across the county will install the alarms in the students' homes to help keep them safe.

This October, we join in celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Our students are gaining valuable work experience across Lake County, thanks to our incredible vocational staff and business partners who open doors to opportunity daily.
