Assaults on any officer whether regular or special is not acceptable. Hope the officer is ok & makes a speedy recovery.
An absolutely disgusting attack on one of our police officers. The negative comments regarding his age or status as a Special Constable are irrelevant. Our officers undertake the same personal safety training and fitness tests as paid colleagues.
