Both outer and inner Perth suburbs are growing in populations - those at the edges of the expanding city are growing the fastest, and this is where our best remaining bushland can be found.

Perth’s population has swelled over the past decade and the majority of the growth is being absorbed in suburbs far, far away from the hustle and bustle of St Georges Terrace.

Congrats to Sutomo on another paper from his PhD thesis. This one exploring floristic differences and drivers across savanna ecosystem in wetter parts of Indonesia, ie Java, Bali & Lombok. Climate, fire and invasive species important.
