We are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Clive Smith
Clive was quite simply Mr Bridon Ropes
He was a great friend to many in the SCEFL and contributed heavily to the success of non-league football in this area
Our condolences go out to his family and all who knew him
They shall grow not old, as we are left to grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning...
We will remember them.

The Southern Counties East League board of directors have agreed that clubs can kick-off early on Saturdays during the 2022/23 season.
In order to reduce floodlight costs, teams can kick-off at 2pm as long as both clubs agree.
Two Years ago he finished at the top of the scoring charts in the SCEFL Premier Division for the Champions Greenwich Borough
Today he signs for Bristol City for a transfer fee said to be worth £1m.
Congratulations to Mo Eisa!

Sending love from the SCEFL to all of the family and friends of Jordan Dawes who so sadly passed away from Cancer this week.
The Kent Football United ladies goalkeeper was only 18 years old and will be hugely missed by all that knew her.

Seen that record breaking goal from Ryan Hall yet???
Less than 3 seconds into Croydon's London Senior Trophy semi-final, they had the lead 😲
It's possible that it's the quickest goal ever scored in Senior Football! 👏

Preview 🔽
The League has communicated to all Clubs today that, assuming the current lockdown ends on the 2nd December, it is our intention to restart league matches on Saturday 12th December for both the Premier Division and First Division.
Glebe FC have been awarded £10,000 of National Lottery funding from Sport England’s Community Emergency Fund to help with financial costs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today’s Man of the Match is our Physio Alex Armstrong who superbly assisted a loyal Sheppey supporter who was taken ill just after full-time. The care received before the ambulance service arrived may just have saved their life.
The SCEFL is run entirely by volunteers as are all our member clubs. What a wonderful job they are all doing for football in the SE.
It wouldn’t happen without them so massive thanks to all.
An crowd of 510 at Larkfield & New Hythe v Snodland Town today! 👏
A combined attendance of over 1000 at the two games between the Clubs this season! 😲
Both matches finished as draws 🤝
Level on games played and points in the table! 😮
What a run-in we have ahead of us! 😀
We have today sent all SCEFL Clubs a survey asking whether they would be interested in taking part in a supplementary Cup competition, starting after 12th April.
This would begin in a mini-league format and only take place if spectators are allowed in.
All at the Southern Counties East Football League would like to wish our Non League Football friends and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Great News!
Lewisham Borough Community FC are back!
They have received so much support and comment since the notice yesterday and not all just verbal. As such they have had considerable financial donations made to the club, and now will continue.
Today was the final home game for Ray Simpson and his fellow Lewisham Borough directors before they leave the club next week.
Alan Coomes was on hand to capture the send-off given by both sides

Just had the busiest half hour on the website of all time.
Would appreciate if more clubs can get the BBC to follow them around next season and produce a documentary👍

For us it means a 21-team Premier Division and 16-team First Division - each with no lateral movement in or out

Best of luck to Canterbury City and Cray Valley PM today.
You have both conducted yourselves incredibly well during this competition and all involved have done their clubs and the League proud.
