A search found 21 bottles of probiotics, dental products & medications worth $1,500 that Jones said he planned to resell in #SanFrancisco. He took the items from Safeway, @cvspharmacy in Campbell & @Walgreens in #SanJose. Two pipes used to smoke fentanyl were also found.

A suspected thief exited @Safeway on Homestead Road in @CityofCupertino on July 21 riding off on a bicycle with filled backpacks. Deputy Curtis Jr. stopped Tyler Jones, 32, for riding without a light in the dark. Jones said he thought he was being stopped for stealing.

🚨 HIGHWAY 9 IS NOT A RACETRACK! 🚨.South of @CityofSaratoga on Big Basin Way, we’ve seen a dangerous trend: motorcyclists treating this construction zone like a personal drag strip. The speed limit is 30 MPH, but some riders are blowing past at 60…even 70+ MPH! That’s RECKLESS!

UPDATE: The suspicious package at Winchester @VTA Station was a geocache -- a container used in a GPS-based treasure hunt game. The Bomb Squad confirmed it was not a threat. Evacuations are lifted. All roads & the light rail station are reopening now. Thank you for your patience.

ARRESTED: Junior Bernardino, 28, of Gilroy, near E. Middle Ave. He had: .- 6 prior DUI convictions (4 felonies).- 13 license suspensions.- A .197 BAC = more than double the legal limit.- Open box of beer in the back seat

Drunk driver arrested for 7th time!.Sgt. Carlin was on patrol in San Martin when a white car nearly rear-ended his vehicle at high speed on Center Ave. The car swerved dangerously, driving off-road twice. While attempting a car stop, the driver tried to flee but didn’t get far.

NOTE: Correction - Original theft was $5K, however, we expect the total value in items recovered to exceed $20K.

ARRESTED: Ivan Espinoza, 33, & Claudia Barragan, 41, of Oakland. Charges: Organized retail theft, conspiracy & receiving stolen property. The three original “beauty bandits” are still out there, believed to be active boosters in the #BayArea. Two down. Three to go. #retailtheft
