We are very excited that Ann Paul will be joining us at our Belfast meet up on the morning of Saturday 8th November and then facilitating our picture book workshop that afternoon. The event will be in the Seamus Heaney centre at Queen’s University, Belfast from 13.00 -16.00.

While this event is aimed at picture book creators, Ann will focus on ‘Openings’ and ‘Characters’ which will also be of benefit for those working on books for older age groups. There will be time for some practical exercises.

Our next Belfast social will be on Saturday 8th November. A different venue - 10.30-12.00 at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen's University, Belfast. Anyone writing, illustrating or translating books for kids and teens is welcome to join us over tea and coffee and goodies.
