Student percussionists at Crossroads North were busy practicing under the watchful eye of Mrs. Olson this morning.

After presenting to their classmates, Ms. Kapler's students at Crossroads South completed a scavenger hunt to familiarize themselves with their social studies textbook.

Ms. Berkey's students at Crossroads North wrote their common interests and opinions on index cards, then used the cards to participate in a tower-building challenge.

This morning at Crossroads South, Ms. Ventre and Mr. Arcure had their social studies students match historical pictures to captions in order to create a visual timeline of the American History curriculum.

Students in the Comets unit at Crossroads North had the chance to learn each other's names today by playing a game of Entourage, which is essentially an ever-expanding "Rock, Paper, Scissors" competition.

Yesterday was the final PATTERNS assembly of the school year. Special thanks to the PTO for supporting our Crossroads readers with prizes. Altogether, students from North and South combined to read more than 24,000 books this year.

With the end of the school year approaching, Ms. Cabel's students at Crossroads North shared the details of a book they previously enjoyed and would recommend to their classmates to read over the summer.

Yesterday was the annual Crossroads PATTERNS picnic. The top readers from North and South were invited to Reichler Park for a day of relaxation and socializing.

Finalists from the Crossroads South Tinkercad Challenge recently visited the South Brunswick Public Library to learn about the 3D printer. Mr. Marsala from the library presented each finalist with a printed version of their design as well as an award certificate.

On Friday, the annual Special Olympics torch run visited cheering students and staff at Crossroads South (outside) and Crossroads North (inside). The mission of the torch run is to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics New Jersey.
