Starting the bank holiday weekend the right way. Shababs and a bottle of red. Managed to get two thirds through the table naan and now I'm in a naan coma.

Another new dish for our summer menu - The Chicken 'k-bab!
Chicken tikka, salad, raita, tamarind sauce and crispy fried onions on a homemade Naan cooked in a pizza oven.
The perfect dish for summer nights after a few pints. Coming to a Streetfood Venue near you from May onwards

5 pints of rum and coke down after a crazy busy day and I'm gona give myself some credit which I'm really bad at. In 18 months I've gone from serving my food out of my kitchen window, then getting in with DDC and now I have a trailer and doing events that attract 5500 people 🤯

My youngest turned 15 today. Offered to take her anywhere for lunch and she chose Pizza Express. £68 and 3 very average pizzas later and I've realised how spoilt I am that I've got mates who cook much better pizzas that I usually get for free.

Tested a new recipe idea for dinner. Homemade buttery naan with slow cooked, shredded masala lamb.
It was incredible! I'd love to sell this at one of our pop-ups if I can make the costs work. And I already have a name for it - 'Best Baa Naan' 😂

Had a customer today who asked what GF stood for on the menu. I told him it was gluten free and he said something like "I'm not eating that shit". Tried to explain that most food was GF and told him that I could add gluten to any dish if he wanted. He declined. Strange chap.

Our first popup last night was crazy. We had van trouble and one of our fryers went down causing us to be up against it from the start. But we soldiered on and ended up selling 2 days worth of food in one night. Today I'm aching from head to toe but we go again 💪

Dear pubs/bars; when I ask before entering if you have cider on tap I mean cider. If I want a pint I want a proper cider - not something with fruit in it that tastes like squash. This happened in 3 places on Friday meaning we walked straight out once we'd seen the drinks menu.
