JUST RELEASED: We’ve released our second yearly report on sentencing trends in the last 10 years in Victoria. Key changes in 2022-23:.- return to pre-COVID case levels.- continued increase in youth diversion.- higher fines, especially for companies.

OUT TOMORROW: We'll be publishing the second in our new statistical series 'Sentencing in Victoria'. Each report provides 10 years of sentencing data in each criminal jurisdiction: the Magistrates', Supreme, County and Children's Courts. This new report will run to 30 June 2023.
