S1 had an amazing time at Go Ape! It was fantastic to see how brave and supportive the kids were of each other. Some of our pupils returning to Go Ape with confidence and others pushing themselves out of their comfort zones. @LarbertHigh

Chips and curry went down a treat with S1 this week π€©
Week 3 and 4 of placement have been so busy I almost forgot to take any pictures! S1 this week made homemade chips and curry sauce this week, looking at peer pressure as another factor affecting food choice. Safe to say, these were delicious π

Exploring other countries food and culture is an exciting. Many of our S1 hadnβt tried salsa before and thoroughly enjoyed itπ
This week S1 began looking at how culture can affect food choice. They fabulously made a south african chakalaka relish with tortilla chips! πΏπ¦ They then completed research on other dishes that are popular across Africa and shared what they found on @padlet.

Fantastic print making tonight at Reimagining Spaces! @LHSArtandDesign showed pupils how to create quick and excellent prints using ink, a roller and a ballpoint pen! Excited for our site visit to @NHSForthValley on Monday π€©π€©
