#TRICITIES You may have seen a plume of smoke last night AND this morning from the same spot! Last night, fire started in an RV in #Pasco and spread to a workshop. It was put out, but started up again this morning. @PascoWAFire crews are finishing up at the scene now. @KAPPKVEW

If you see smoke NORTH of #Richland, WA—it’s a controlled burn, and a training exercise for firefighters in the local academies.

If you know Howard Amon park, like me, you’re probably thinking two things looking at these pictures: Oh, my goodness: adorable baby goslings. Oh, my goodness: the river is VERY high. That’s what we’re talking about live right now @KAPPKVEW.

There is a #roadclosure in #Pasco right now, south of Lewis St. to A St., and A St. is closed from the railroad tracks to Oregon Ave.

@PascoWAFire is saying that if you’re EAST of OREGON AVENUE, to stay inside. There are many fumes releasing, and Ben Shearer is recommending that for safety, you stay inside.

There are MANY fire trucks and engines on standby here.

Here’s a look at more of that smoke. I’m told gas is being released from tanks, which is causing the release of this smoke.

There has been some intermittent smoke coming around the building. There is a chance of #explosion, official say, due to the nature of the business (welding, gases and fire equipment), but multiple crews are on the scene and ready if that happens.

This is happening on Columbia Park Trail, east of Edison St. The road is shut down. Officials say to find alternate routes around the area.

#BREAKING This morning on our Gesa Stadium Skycam, we noticed significant smoke from across the river in Kennewick. Officials tell me it’s a recreational vehicle fire. All occupants are out of the car, and crews are currently working to put it out. @KAPPKVEW

There are high tensions between the opposing sides. No large disruptions so far, but many snaps during public comment.

At the #Richland WA City Council Meeting. There has been a polarizing debate over a recent #drag brunch that took place at a local restaurant. The council chambers are full. The lobby is full. We’re live tonight at 6 on @KAPPKVEW.

Crews are in overhaul now. KFD Deputy Chief says the house is a complete loss, and one person is being assessed for smoke inhalation. More @KAPPKVEW.

You can see heavy flames on the inside of the residence, and there’s a large hole on the top of it where fire is coming out of.

At the scene of a large house fire in Kennewick off of Metaline Ave. Crews are working to put it out. We’ve heard several large popping noises from around the building.

The scene wrapped up not long ago. Police say one person, the original alleged gunman, surrendered and was detained, and another person who was in the house was not arrested. More tonight @KAPPKVEW.
