The Round Square International Conference kicked off last night with an incredible ‘IOW Festival Night’ at Ryde School. Here are a few special moments captured last night, with more photos coming for the full conference next week.

Another Five Star food hygiene rating for Ryde School. Inspections recently carried out by Isle of Wight Council environmental health officers rate restaurants, schools and food production companies in line with the Food Standards Agency.

We are delighted to announce that all our Ryde School students who took their LAMDA exams in June all achieved a Distinction with marks ranging from 80 - 93.

As a Round Square School, last year Ryde School was chosen to be a host for the Round Square International Conference 2022. The 280 delegates will arrive on Thursday to spend 3 days enjoying the sights of the Isle of Wight. The theme this year is ‘Take Less Be More’.

Yesterday afternoon (Sunday 11.09.22) hundreds of people gathered in St Thomas’ Square, Newport (Isle of Wight), for the proclamation of King Charles III. Notice our Head Boy James, holding the Proclamation Scroll. The Proclamation was then followed by the National Anthem.

We are delighted to say that the A Level grades were the best results Ryde School has achieved when sitting public examinations since 2014. 16.9% of grades were A*s, 45.1% were A*- A, and 66.9% were A*- B with over a third of pupils achieving two A grades or better.
