Standing on the shore of the mountain lake, watching as another storm approaches. Trees and views of the horizon that once were visible. now they are hidden from sight. Are they gone forever? .No, we know that they are still there. Just on the other side of this coming storm.

Sigh 😔 .Another one. 😢. Another family friend decided to end life early. Please don’t, if you’re thinking of it , don’t. That is all you will ever be remembered for if you do. Not for all the good that you have done but for that one, unchangeable act.

This year at the balloon festival in Delta, they for the first time (I think) did a plein air art event during the balloon launch. It was cool getting to see these artists take their blank canvases and convert them to their vision of the day in the public view.

Looking forward to this weekend's festivities. Hot air balloons, fireworks and more, oh my :-). The last couple years have been awesome, hopefully this year will be as well.
