Fun Fact: 20 yrs ago, @Chiefs wanted state $$ & threatened to move. We didn’t have the $$, called the bluff & they re-signed. We knew: 1. Arrowhead traps sound by design and can’t be replicated now due to the ADA. 2. Lamar would NEVER leave. Clark is no Lamar. #ChiefsKingdom

As the author of the “Border War Truce” legislation, I can say that this article nails it. The whole point was to keep KC taxpayers from wasting billions to move a business a few miles away with no real impact to the community. Hobo Hunt played KS like a fiddle. #ChiefsKingdom

I’ve just learned of the passing of Gov/Sen Kit Bond. There has been no finer man in MO politics in my lifetime. Kit taught me more than any single person about how to be a good public servant. He was the same in front of the camera and behind closed doors. MO has lost a giant.
