I promise this isn’t me being lazy, but I’m not sure we need to divvy up #NJDevils D Luke Hughes’ year. A score of 83 in his age 21 season is remarkable & he’s definitely a player NJ should look to lock in long term if possible. Outstanding outside of his physicality & defense

Again, these are the analytics for JUST his last *8* GP. It’s a small sample but CHI hasn’t surrounded him with a lot of talent so it’s great to see him show flashes of this level despite his circumstance. The hope is that it becomes sustainable as the team improves around him.

#Blackhawks Frank Nazar ABSOLUTELY found his stride in Chicago’s 8 April games last year. If Nazar builds on his April form in 25/26, his 6.6M x 7 extension will be a steal. It’s a small sample size, but promising nonetheless for a Hawks team that lacks players of his skillset
@RyanMaScouting I'd be interested to just see his last two months cuz he absolutely turned it on big time especially in April (and at the world champs).

#GoAvsGo makes a lot of sense for Victor Olofsson . Between the uncertainty of Landeskog’s durability & the departure of Drouin as cheap offense, Olofsson fits a need here. He’ll be a welcome addition to the PP2 & a versatile Top 9 option that can step in during injuries

This is a tough one, as a Rangers fan this SUCKS… Valentini was going factor into a huge role for us this year. On the other hand… as @DobberHockey’s US Regional Scout it’s nice to get a few guys back into my region after an exodus from the USHL to the CHL the last few weeks.

Leafs clearly think with some maturation physically there’s going to be a guy who’ll look very differently in 2 years than he does now. Wes Clark’s comments about his competitiveness and defensive instincts match up with TOR’s preference in the past for high IQ D prospects. 3/?.

Hextall, Zielinski, Williams & Gordon-Carroll are the players I’ll be dialed in on for Team 🇺🇸 at the Hlinka. Hextall in particular is a player I’ve liked in my viewings so far this summer… he has a real opportunity to drum up early 1st round hype with a strong tournament.

I’ve touched on this last year but 🇨🇦 is facing increasing struggles as the talent gap continues to close. They remain the only big name country that doesn’t have a development program like the 🇺🇸 or tons of intl tournaments throughout the year like 🇸🇪 & 🇫🇮 to build chemistry.
Make it 5-1 Sweden.
