I remember the exact place I was on 9/11/2001, who I was with, and the shock I felt watching the attack on America. I also remember the heroes that arose that day and the days after, and the pride we felt as we came together as one. I will never forget. Let’s all never forget.

I am heartbroken to learn of Charlie Kirk’s passing. He was a husband, a father, and a passionate advocate for the political discussion and debate. I pray for the repose of his soul and that God may bring his family peace and comfort. Political violence must be condemned—always.

I’m shocked and saddened to hear about the shooting of Charlie Kirk. My prayers are with Charlie, his wife and their children. May God give them strength and comfort. Political violence has no place in a free society.
