Ooh, please tell me Ed Yong is writing a book on the disaster that was the “war” between germ theory & sanitation. This dichotomy has dramatically outlived any value it ever had. The answer was always both!

@VIMS_News Finally, in the James River dermo prevalence was below the 2023 level and the long-term mean, though still in the "normal" range as at the other sites. All in all, the situation with regard to this key oyster pathogen has improved in lower Chesapeake Bay @VIMS_News
