Just took down top seed, one-loss Minot to return to title game. No over-the-top celebration by the Spartans. It was get up, shake hands and onto the next.
Fargo North will get the chance to defend last year's state championship following an 81-58 win over West Region top seed Minot in the North Dakota Division AA boys basketball state semifinals on Friday, March 8.

Going to games as a little kid, hearing Mac'a iconic "Wiiiiilllldcat Goal" calls was one of the most exciting parts of the in-game experience. Still was up until his retirement a few years ago. Mac will be missed by the entire Marquette hockey community. RIP.
We are saddened to learn of the passing of legendary NMU Hockey announcer and longtime friend of our program, Tim "Mac" McIntosh.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
