My dad was more than just a father, he was my best friend and carbon copy of myself. While I will miss him, I am grateful for the time we had together and the memories we shared. He will always be with me no matter where I go in life. I know he is looking down on me with pride π€

UPDATE: my dad has now slipped into a coma and is expected to pass very soon. Thank you to everyone who had reached out and offered me a place to grieve π€.
Got the unfortunate news last night that my dad, whoβs been on hospice since March, has 2 weeks - 2 months left. Losing him is going to absolutely destroy me, but I know heβll forever be with me. Keep your loved ones close and let them know how much you appreciate them often π€.
