So I heard the letters are Aramaic. Do we have an Aramaic scholar on board?

I need some serious help. I acquired a papyrus role from an old library founded in the 19th century. This is not bazaar crap, but I have no old about it's age. Please help & advice. If ancient, further analyses might be justified. @IslamicOrigins #arabic @PhDniX

With those red eyes, this monk clearly stayed up too late reading! This lovely drawing was added by an early reader to a psalter printed 521 years ago by Wynkyn de Worde in London #Doodles #RareBooks

After lying forgotten for over a century on the shelves of a library, an extraordinary piece of history finally came to light: a papyrus scroll. Surely not crap from the bazaar, but could the specialist here, saying about it's age? @islamicorigins.bsky.social @IslamicOrigins

Delightful hip swinging, wing swishing, trumpet blowing Angels of Resurrection adorn a scene of an axe, set square & pick, all about to be covered over by the drapes. The globe tells us that this is our everything.

On the Properties of Things) is a medieval encyclopedia. Only three copies know of this incunabulum. It is a bit vulgar to talk about price, but low. https://t.co/kgua0otkp1

Helen Bell died in 1772 aged 33 years. Her husband, John Mathison chose this portrait of Helen on the family gravestone. Such images of people provoked unwanted attention & attempts to deface them is often evident. The heavily armoured man on the horse below has been spared.
