We are super excited to announce that we will be opening from May 17th and we cannot wait to see you all back in the pub! Much like when we reopened before we will not be taking table bookings but offering walk in tables only!

Unfortunately we are now closed, it’s a strange and emotional feeling but we will be back and hopefully stronger than ever after all of this. We are so grateful for the staff and customers through all of this and we’re gonna miss you all so much. -

A fair few pubs are doing this and its a great way to stock up on booze and help out some local independent businesses! we are continually so grateful for all your kind words and any small purchases you can make!

This is such a hard time for everyone, and every business has to respond in a way that works for them. We support and respect every independent business and the decisions they're forced to make, and we are so grateful for everyone's patience and kind words - you make it worthwhil

We are also offering a 10% discount on takeout cask and keg (bring your own growlers or take one of our 2 pint cartons) and bottles and cans. We are looking into other things to sell, including vouchers and merch, so watch this space.

We will now be open from 2pm til 10pm daily, and serving a reduced food menu from 4 til 9. We will have fewer tables available for sitting in, no bar stools, and will stop service if we deem that the pub is getting too busy to maintain effective distance between people.

As government advice currently stands, which obviously puts a lot of pressure on us as a business, we feel we have no choice but to continue trading, albeit with reduced opening hours and increased measures to combat the spread of the disease.

Hi everyone, thanks for bearing with us over the last 24 hours. We wanted to spend some time communicating properly with our staff, who are our absolute priority (and complete superstars) before we came to a decision about how to proceed.

Monday is our third birthday since Kate and Chris signed the lease on our beautiful little pub. We’ll be celebrating with these beers as well as Cascade Cuvee Du Jongleur! It’s gonna be big!
