What an extraordinary week with the St John Passion with @AAMorchestra, @Polyphony_UK & @TheHanoverBand. Choirs in this country are singing so brilliantly right now. Working on nuance, inflection, colour, emotional intent - this is why I do what I do. I live for this art form ❤️.

In 2007 I recorded Poulenc’s Lenten motets: a profound experience. Tonight I’ll sing them with @Polyphony_UK. This music is vivid, human, and exquisite. What a thrill to work with singers who share my love of exploring vocal colour and nuance - it doesn’t get better than this ❤️
